masturbation after discectomy L4L5

I have had my discectomy off L4L5 on25th Jan 2016. Post op i had no sexual urges tool the end of 3rd week... After that time the pain and sensations in the body had reduced and i started getting regular erections which couldn't be neglectedto cuz they were really hard.. So i masturbated day twice or thrice a week.. Now on the 5th week i feel all pain subsided except some redundant pain near the incision and below i.e in the pelvic area... Could it be due t masturbating and ho many days is required before i could resume normal works...
