Yes, I was not able to walk, sit or stand for long. I was previously a healthy, energetic active gal. I was in a car crash that caused a great deal of pain. I finally had surgery 5 days ago and have experienced no leg pain at all from the moment I awoke from anesthesia. One of the things fixed was a large annular tear. I don't have all the details on what exactly the surgeon did, but I will learn this on my post-op appointment Oct 29th. All I know is that the surgeon was able to relieve all of my nerve pain and discomfort.
What sort of pain is your dad having? How does he describe it (for example: burning/aching/weakness) Where does he experience the pain? What relieves the pain? What makes it worse?
i mean r u better now or do u still have problems?
so after all the time u spent unable to walk has the pain gone?
I also was told I have bulging disc and annular tear in C6-C7 L5-S1, I was told I dont need surgery, but it is sooo painful, my neck and back hurt ALL the time. They gave me CELEBREX and SKELEXIN, but that does not help. I'm only 38 yrs old and I am miserable!!!
hello,,,,
im so glad to see your back, i hope it all went well, weve missed you.
can't wait to here how you faired and how good your going to be...
GOD BLESS AND PRAYER'S ARE YOURS
I feel for your father...I just had surgery on an annular tear and woke up with NO LEG PAIN WHATSOEVER - I wasn't able to walk, sit, drive, etc. etc. It is a real issue and kept me inactive for almost a year. Don't let him give up trying to find relief - he does not have to live in pain forever!
Cheers!
but then why wouldn't his doctor have picked this up?
buldes and annual tears may not be the casue of his pain-- he may have muscular pain--tight hip flexors/postural pain.
