pain

i m 25 year old women.i have pain just top of the buttock.pain is only coming when i sittting in some position.this pain started after few months back.what will be the reason for this pain?

this is usually associated with sciatica do you also have some lower back pain and also a pain running down one of your legs?
Just a guess I'm not a doctor, but I do have degenerative disk disease with sciatica pain.

should have said that sciatica is just a SYMPTOM  of a underlying cause....underlaying cause usually a pinched nerve in the spine>>
