Another thought I had was in the pharmacy they sell those "icey Hot" patches or they're called "Salonpas".  They just patches to put on your skin where you may have a sore muscle.

But if things persist be sure an see your md, i wish i had seen mine sooner.

Over the counter hmmm, I think ibup is your best bet as long as you dont take too much of it for too long, it can irritate some people's stomachs' including mine.  I believe alot of people use Alieve, im not that familiar with it, i know alot of people take it.  

You can also consult your pharmacist about this, they are very knowledgeable regarding medications and usually always very helpful.  But if the over the counter medication is not working for you maybe you need to see your physician for further investigation.  

Some people benefit from heat or ice as well.  Never put directly on skin always put a cover on first to avoid any burns.
