spinal fluid leak causing headaches

How long does it take the body to replinish spinal fluid.. I had surgery on 3/21 to fix a spinal fluid leak that was causing headaches... headaches didnt go away,  then I had a blood patch on 4/25 and the headaches are still here. Should I just wait another month or so to see if headaches go away, or head to a surgeon now to discuss  a process for resolution.. I have had the headaches since initial disk surgery on 1/6/11...

Did u lie flat for a number of hours afterward too?....since u r still having an issue, I would suggest rest and avoid ur normal routine for a while.

I wouldn't take too much caffeine...plenty of water and some caffeine should be fine, but u have to rest too.

Hi...may I ask did they  instruct u to lie flat for a while, drink plenty of water?

Even after the blood patch I would expect there to be some instructions after the procedure.May I ask what type activities r u doing?

Caffeine can help with these HA's and keep ur self hydrated.
