will a spinal stimulator cover up later or extensive nerve damage, that may not be reversed?

i actually had just gone through the trial run for the spinal stimulators. personally for my back issues, i have my l5 and s1 fused. to be completely honest it is extremely difficult to say if this will or will not help because everyone reacts to these stimulators differently. i would recommend you speak to a pain management doctor and see if they cant set up a trial run for the spinal stimulator, it really is the only way to know if it will help.
