Benign spinal hemotomas

Hello, I am very thankful for this forum.

My Dr. told me I had two places on my spine that have Spinal Hemotomas. I understand they are pockets of blood. However, that is all I know. Can you please tell me what causes it and what happens to it if left untreated? Any information you can give me will be better than what I already have. Thanks, Randi
