Advice if Possible - Failed Back Surgery

Hello everyone. I have had surgery (Dynamic Stabilisation) on S1 / L5 because I had no disc tissue in between the vertebrae. This procedure was done instead of the Spinal Fusion.
The Dyn. Stab. surgery failed and I am still in constant, chronic pain.  Have had opinions from many doctors but they all differ, so I was hoping if anyone knows or who has experienced the same, they could post some advice? (the surgery was 3 years ago).
Many thank you's :)

If you are still in pain then I would definatlly see a good doctor.  Shop around until you find one that you like.  Do NOT settle.  I did this and am paying for it no.  FBSS is common and I don't know that anything can be done for it.  I know that you can get an injection to loosen up the scar tissue and disolve it into your system.  You can also get you nerves burned in another procedure.  I have had both of these and they help for a while but the pain comes back.  Even a day of relief is worth it though.   Go to a pain specialist they can try MBB's and other procedures that will ease the symptoms with out interupting your life.  The Nerve Blocks or MMB's are in/out and can last several months if they get it right.  MRI with contrast will help you understand what is wrong and what nerves are being pinched to cause your pain.  I hope this helps.

Hi,there

FBSS is very common problem for back surgery. I suggest you to see another experienced doctor for second opinion. I suppose that you still suffer from soft tissue injuries around S1/L5,which could lead to constant chronic pain. If you need detail, you can search my name in google to find information.Best Wishes!
