popping in back

today while breathing slumped over, i noticed a popping noise in the top right part of my back. i just noticed it, it does not cause any pain. i have had a bad cough the past 2 weeks probably due to my bad sinuses, cause my girlfriend has the cough as well.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Once in a while you may feel a muscle spasm or fluid in lungs (since you have a cough). However, if this persists then you need to get this investigated. Meanwhile drink plenty of fluids and take oral rehydration solution twice in a day for 2-3 days. This will help take care of any dehydration and also help you with cough. If your cough and the popping sensation persists, please consult a doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
