Extrusion on spine at C-6...MRI report

My neurologist called yesterday and said I have an extrusion at the C-6 and he is working on a referral to a neurosurgeon.

Here is part of the MRI report
C3-C4 miled left posterior spondylosis no narrowing or stenosis.
C4-C5 mild spondylosis. No neuroforaminal narrowing.

C5-C6 Moderate spondylosis. Medium central focal extrusion indents the ventral cord causing moderate spinal stenosis. No change in cord signal. No neuroforaminal narrowing.

C6-C7 Large (5mm in height)( right subarticular/paramedian focal extrustion with annular tear. The extrusion indents the right ventral cord causing marked spinal stenosis.
No change in cord signal. No neurofaraminal narrowing.

Who has had the surgery for correction and what were your results? I'm scared and worried.  I feel like crap all the time now.
