Should I get a second opinion?

Okay so I have had problems with my back for a while. I started out with an L4/L5 herniated disk and a T11/T12 compression fracture. I had an MRI today of my neck and found out I have a C5/C6 spinal stenosis. I have been in pure agony for a month. It took them that long to stop testing me for heart problems while I was begging them to look at my neck. I can barely move my head, my arms and legs are weak, and I have had numbness go through my face and abdomen. My dr says I shouldn't hurt that bad since it showed as a mild stenosis and I am fine to return to work. Now yes I do have a desk job, but I also have tasks that require me to walk all over a hospital to carry things to different departments. My legs almost go out from under me while just trying to navigate through my house. My dr never physically examined me. He just looked at the results and didn't really discuss anything with me. He had a nurse call me. Should I go see someone else? I hurt SO bad. I swear this is worse than childbirth.
