Your surgeon is responsible for explaining the risks and benefits of back surgery for your particular case.  We are not looking at your MRI and your chart like he is, and we do not have medical degrees.  I have worked for orthopedic surgeons, and generally they don't like to do back surgery because it does not have great success rate compared to other orthopedic surgeries.  That is probably because there is more weight on the lower back.  The more overweight you are, the worse it is.  On top of that you have comorbid conditions that are unfortunate.  I hope it goes well for you, but I can't advise you whether you will be satisfied with the outcome.

Hi I am not sure what ur r asking here.

Most Drs will not do surgery unless the benefits out weight the risks...or it is a life and death  decision, which urs is not.

It seems u r looking for support, not an answer to a certain question, and if that is the case, please let us know and we will offer support.

I pray all goes well for ur surgery.
