Help with MRI report

I had an MRI done today because I've been having some pain in my left arm, hand, neck, chest and shoulder. Can someone help me with this.

Impression: Degenerative disc disease cervical spine, most severe at the C4-C5 level creating central canal and left neural foraminal narrowing as described above. Additionally, there is increased T2 signal at this level which may represent minimal edema versus mild myelomalacia. 2. Straightening of the normal cervical lordosis. 3. Prominent adenoidal tissue without mass

TIA

A neurologist ordered the test and he is going to explain it to me. I just received it faster than he did and my appointment is some weeks away. I was just curious as to what it meant. Thanks though.

How's your back doing, haven't seen you post in awhile?

I'll send you a PM on your MRI.
