Is it to early to start freaking out?

I'm 23 and May of 2009 I have a fourwheeler accident. I was lucky because I escaped with my life. I am now a T7 parapalegic. I had a Thoracic fusion from T6 to T10.  When I bend over you can see 2 screws poking up. When you put your hand on the spot you can literally feel grinding when I set up? I am so scared. I have a 4 year old daughter who I cherish with my life, but if something is wrong i'd rather do it now while she is so young. Oh and i have to add I have no insurance. In Arkansas, maybe other states, you have to be disabled for 2 years before medicaid will pick you up. I'm stuck, and I'm scared. Can anyone give me some insight?

Its sounds like you've been through h@ll. Your daughter's lucky to have such a strong young lady as her Mom.

How long has it been since you had surgery, have you spoken to your Surgeon or Primary about this? Are you having pain as a result of this hardware problem?
