Jarred back.

I jarred my back in school when I was 14, I am now 19 and ever since I done it I have had constant back pain, I have learned to deal with it when it's mild but it's getting so bad I struggle to put my socks on, I am not over weight so that can't have anything to do with it. I can't bare it anymore, any advice on what I should do?

The thing is they couldn't understand why it happened, it was just a normal day then all of a sudden I was in excruciating pain and couldn't move, I was rushed to a&e and my back was swollen and bruised all over, they gave me physio for about a month which helped for a couple of hours but other then that they have done nothing to help and no one can make sense of what happened. All I get told is to take ibuprofen but it doesn't help at all. No other help has been offered so I really don't know what to do. :/ thankyou for your input though I know not to have surgery now. Hope you get better.

hi amy my name is brett . at the age of 20 i was coming home from work and a person ran a stop sign and hit me at 55 mph . i had a bunch of things wrong with my lower back and i went to see a surgent right away . they told me if i didnt get a l5 s1 fusion it would just get much worse up my back down the road . so now almost 3 years after my surgery i have more problems and so much more back pain then i did befor surgery . everything with my surgery went well and healed right but they cant figure out why im in so much pain . ive seen alot of diff docs for appions and no one can help me . i finally went to a pain manangment doctor last friday and new told me hes weening me off of my meds and the only thing hes going to do is give me shots that are so expensive i cant aford them . needless to say im not going to tell you to not get surgery but i will say they always say the grass is greener on the other side but it really is not . please way ur options and see a few doctors befor making a life decision . i hate to go on the net and read about ppl suffering from failed back surgerys it hurts me sometimes more then my pain my self to read storys like mine that are similar . hope this helps you
