Loose screw

I had a 4/5 s1 fusion 3 years ago,about 2 years ago I complained of a sharp pain on the right side,got told it was scar tissue!!! Now when I sit or go to stand up the pain is horrific,feels like knife stabbing pain,going to see Ortho in 3 weeks,could this be a screw has come loose ?
