Rowing post spinal fusion

I had spinal fusion surgery (T3 to L2) 6 years ago when I was 22 due to scoliosis. I joined a gym two days ago and enjoy going on the rowing machine. I am wondering if using the rowing machine will ultimately be harmful to my back.

I'm doing very well post surgery. I've found that my movement isn't as limited as I thought it would be and I actually have less pain now.
