Straightening of the cervical spine

Hi,

I have been seeing a chiropractor for my cervical spine which is very straight.  She told me after 3 sessions to see how i get on but i know my neck is exactly the same as it was before the treatment.  Is there any quick-fix treatments for this? I've had it for 6 years and it is affecting a lot of aspects in my life. My neck feels so weak and i don't know who to turn to now for treatment.

Good luck....I hope u r able to get it straighten out...it took a couple yrs for me....but again it was 14 yrs after the accident.

I also know soliders getm it from standing at attention....hence the name soliders neck.

i will be betting an mri soon hopefully on the nhs.it was caused by bad posture while studying.the chiropractor said she'd never seen it caused by bad posture before but i can't recollect having had an accident.

Hi...I had this after I had whiplash......it took some time....more than 3 sessions...to relax my muscles around the neck and shoulder area.Mine went 14 yrs undx'd.....But, I did get my curve back!!

U may want to see a spince specialist...outside of a chiro.....Did u have an MRI to see exactly what is going on?.....what caused this...type of injury?

See a NS that specializes in spines and see if they can help u.....this condition is sometimes called soldiers neck...and sometimes it will stay straight.

Good luck
