back pian

Hello, back in October of 2008 I was diagnosed with three cracked vertebrates in my lower back. I hurt them while moving stacks of chairs while at work in late August. The Dr sent me to a specialist, but due to come financial stuff I was unable to go as they wanted me to pay for a spine assessment.  Just over a month ago I was still getting back pain when I stood or walked for long periods of time. But now I have found that I do not get the pain like before. I am worried that the cracks have healed on their own and if I just went on about my normal life that I might crack them again. My question is should I still see the specialist even when there is no more back pain like before.  I feel bad that I would go see a Dr if the back pain is OK. I would see my normal Dr, but I am having issues with him on treatment and such.

I agree, you should still go see the specialist.  You may be feeling better now but it may not stay that way and thinking it is healed when it may not be is nothing to fool around with, especially the back.  Better to be safe than sorry!  Best of luck to you~

yes i would go and see the specialist the pain is only a symptom of the problem you need to sure that the underlying problem has healed properly or get treatment or you could pay for it later in life
