please advise what my MRI Scan means

I have recently had a MRI Scan done and do not really understand it, could you please advise me in layman terms what is wrong with me please, here goes: Chronic spondylosis with disc space narrowing is seen involving L5-S1 level with moderately sized broad based disc prolapse slightly indenting the thecal sac and effacing the right S1 nerve root before it runs in the lateral recess. the exit foramina are spacious.. Minor central disc prolapse with disc space narrowing and degeneration present  at levels of L3/4 and L4/5 with no root compression and spacious central and lateral canals.. Minor facet OA present in the lower lumbar region, there is no evidence of spinal stenosis...... please tell me what all this means.. thank you

Easy, I've been through all this before
In easier terms your lower spine L5-S1 has a disc bulge that is almost or is pinching the spinal
Cord or the nerve that exits just near that disc, this can cause pain in the legs etc
Furthermor you have 2 more disc bulges at L3/4 and L4/5 although these are not severe as they are not bulging out and squashing your spinal nerves against the vertebraes in your back
Basically your back is in a very bad way you will have some major lifestyle chagrs to make
No more bending over to pick something greater than 10kg up
No more sudden twisting or your hips etc
Stretch often, learn stretches and out them into practice, get into a gym very often as in 4-5 days a week and lift light but build up your core
Muscle (look up core exercise)
Physiotherapy if you can and remedial massage and swimming
Sounds like alot but it's something we should be doing almost daily anyway but we as lazy people don't, if you are then that is great
Once your spine is feeling better as in 1 year or so from now see if you can start trying pilates this will practically eliminate any backpain you have
Hopefully if your not doing these you will start and do every one of them because this will seriously improve the quality of
Life you will live for the rest of the time you have

Hope this has helped

Previous problems with myself
23yrs of age Male
Disc bulge L4/5 L3/4 and L2/3 no impingement in L3/4 and L2/3 but major sciatic impingement L4/5 requiring surgery  now post surgery it had been 11months and I'm considering entering a bodybuilding comp, my rehabilitaion was very intense for 6months I did everything I told you to the extreme
Mainly swimming because it's great for your spine but my back pain has become a thing of the past
Surgeon told me I would not
Lift weights again and would continue to have some pain for the rest of my life getting worse as I get older
I intend to prove him wrong and was back in the gym 8weeks after surgery although I'm
Not recommending heavy weight lifting to anyone else suffering from the same problem

sorry was something stupid and things crashed here.
go to a comfortable Dr.
this has been going on for a long time i believe, with allot of pain, creepy numbness.
debilitating look on things,
C T L S
just count down from the bone in the back of your head.
plz look this up.
find better keyword...

your neck

your chest hight, about.

your lower back kinda

and you sacrum, thats a wide bone that has an interesting shape.

all in your backside. basically the length of your back, and some.
there's a diagnosis that show a level of change, something seen much after trauma to the body.

it means you might have pain in your legs, numbness, might be very hard to sleep, it can say the you feel un-comfortable,allot.

can we please talk again, after you had a Dr explain things for you (i can hate words, sometimes love'em)
it's time for you to learn more on how to make yourself comfortable, and fast.
you should probably consider "somekind" (kind,is the keyword here) of therapy.
it also can say you have now a diagnosed reason for your symptoms.

sorry about before,i can get angry,&without seeing a face,it is difficult to see.

your family must understand, there is a reason for the pain, A MEDICAL REASON!

plz dont think now of terms such as "wrong" with you,you are to much for all to be wrong.

welcome to A reason behind A Chronic Pain Syndrome, or perhaps changing to Condition, part of the Pain is due to your Pelvic as-well.
if you made an appointment, and you still wanna have contact with a jerk like me,plz consider that i'm not always a jerk, i have no reason to be so with you, only excuses.

take a long, warm shower or bath, think of what helped you to this day,and other's,
you can find more. there's been said to be many ways to deal with Chronic daily Pain.
just press on my nick after you contacted a Dr,
if you want.
once again,i will be more careful with what i say.
i'v learned that i do not want to offend you,a bit late.
