Severe Back Pain with Nausea

Starting last night i begain to have sudden and severe back pain. It is located on the left side, in the mid of my back. no recent trama to the back and about 4 days ago heavy lifting but was fine until last night. I am nauseaous. The pain is radiating from my back through to my left ribs and just below, between my left ribs and left hip. I don't have insurance or I would go to the doctor. I have no fever, and haven't since the pain started. I tried tylenol, heat, and then ice and none of it has worked. My urine is very light in color with no odor. I have been really bad about water drinking until recent and i am drinking between 64- 120 oz of water a day. I had a baby about 2 1/2 months ago and when they did the epidural there was a lot of problems with the nerves on that side of my back. i have been in 3 car accidents but the most recent was approx 8 months ago and was pretty minor, but i was jerked around quite a bit. all i know is that i am in a great deal of pain and dont know what to do. i was thinking maybe kidney stones, but my urine is normal.  i dont know what to do.

Treatment options vary depending on the degree of back trouble and the findings or symptoms of your physical examination. There are situations where medication would be recommended before any type of nonsurgical treatment.
