extreme pain after receiving a hip shot when sick

About a week ago, I was sick and had to go to the ER. The nurse gave me two shots in the same hip area. Since receiving the shots, I have been in extreme pain. The pain is mainly in my hip area, but it radiates to my leg, back, and the hip joint. The pain isn't going away, and it is unbearable. I am having trouble turning around when in bed, trouble getting in and out of bed, walking, and trouble even sitting on the toilet. It is unlike any pain I have ever had before, and I have had two previous back surgies. I have never had this happen before, and I am so worried that it will never go away. About two days ago, I ended up with strep throat after this incident. When the second nurse came to give me my shot of rocefphin for the strep, he said that the injection site looked very high. I am so worried, can anyone help. I can't do anything right now. I am so miserable.

It was the ER who gave the shot. I have called them, and I have gone there for treatment since then. I felt like their hospital was trying to down play the pain I was having. So, I went to another hospital. This hospital was certain that they had gotten the nerve when they gave me the injection. I don't have insurance to see a regular doctor, but tomorrow I am carrying my behind to see regular lawyer...I can tell you that.

The pain is still extreme, and it effects everything I have to do.
