thank you very much i am going tomorrow to see a neuro surgeon i just wanted some idea of what was going on before i go to the appointment.
Hi..were u in a MVA? Loss of cervical lordosis is the natural curve of the spine in the cervical or neck area...many times soldiers get this from how they hold themselves at attention so it may also be called soldiers neck.
If u had a MVA whip lash may cause this to happen with time as the muscles twist and pull that curve part of the spine out of shape and cause pain as well.
The osteophyte is also known as bone spurs....
The focal kyphotic deformity is saying it is a scoliosis type of change in the spine, it can be the result of the bone spur being wedged btwn 2 of the vertabre....
SO it is possible the bone spur is the reason for ur issues, not a MVA, or u may have had the 2 issues.....
Ur Dr should b able to tell u if this is something that can be repaired surgically.
Good Luck
