Hi,
I got results from an MRI. Can someone please translate what this means?

At C5/C6 Wide disco-osteophytic complex centered posteromedially displacing the sac without contact with the cord.

Hi,

Thank you for your response....looked it up and yes it makes sense now!
The EMG ordered the MRI to check for something else, and my doctor retired so I'm stuck with no doc now. This site helps alot though.

sounds like bone spurs pushing against the lining surrounding the spinal cord but not protruding into it.
What does the ordering doctor say? Ask him/her to explain in laymans terms.
Also, google osteophyte complex cervical spine.
