weird sensation in upper lumbar back after l5/1 fusion

I had a one level fusion at l5/s1 feb 22 of this year. I'm having weird sensations in my upper lumbar region to lower thoracic region. Its the weirdest thing. Almost like hardware was put that far up although I know it wasn't. It also hurts more higher up then at the spot the fusion occured at. For other one level fusions at the spot I hd mine, what was ur back experience like? Where did it bother u the most? Thank u all in advance. I'm 25 days out of surgery, walk a lot and wear a back brace except for when I'm sleeping, showering, or laying down.

We'll I'll just comment in my own topic lol. I'm now 29 days into my fusion. At the 4 wk mark exactly, the pain began to subside. Around a week ago, a fiery burning sensation began around my incision when I'm up and around wearing my back brace. When my brace isint on, that pain is gone. I've tried the brace with and without bandages on my incision. Has anyone else ever experienced this? And now the pain around my fusion site just feels like a sorta stiff pain. I believe I'm on my road to recovery and am thankful to be off all the pain meds
