Could be pregnant?

Why is it so bad if you have unprotected sex after the sugar pills and a girl is just coming off her period. Doesn't this mean she just flushed everything out? So she wouldn't be ovulating correct? I've heard the least fertile time is after the period. Is this true on birth control as well?

Thank you very much for the responses! I guess my question is what if she starts her pill next pack of pills late? I know there's still a chance but if it's after her period isn't she less fertile?

It's unlikely! however sperm can live for 72 hours! so it's always a risk. The oral contraceptive pill prevents ovulation, so you should be fine. If this is a point of concern to you, talk to your doctor about Implanon

The birth control stops you from ovulating. You're protected on the pill without a condom, in fact many women don't use condoms when on the pill. But using condoms is extra protection which is advisable if you want to be safe. A lot of my friends don't use condoms while on the pill and they have not been pregnant. I still think it's better to use condoms too unless you're in a position where you could afford an accident.
