Help birth control

What type of birth controm stops periods..?

The depo shot has stopped mines for a year

It's not what type so much as how you take it.  If you take packs in a row continuously, you will skip that many periods, but you need to check with your doctor before seeing if you can.  I know my friend has the Mirena IUD and rarely has periods, if ever, anymore.
