Is it normal to have spotting if I've missed a couple of pills?

Yes, and if you've had unprotected intercourse in the 4-5 day period on either side of the missed pills, pregnancy is also very possible.

If you miss 2 pills, you must use protection for the rest of the pill cycle.

If you miss a pill do you have some symptoms of pregnancy? Like sickness or spotting or mood swings

I've been on BC pills for almost 3 years for medical conditions and yes you can have spotting if you miss a couple of pills. Now by a couple of pills...do you mean 2..3..4?!
I TRY to be consistent and the most i've missed is only usually once or twice a month but Never missed in a row ;). If you do have a hard time remembering to take the pills do what I do to remember. I set my cell phone to have a daily alarm everyday at the same time. As for answering Barb1024 question, thats also a yes! The worst thing I ever did was once i missed a pill and immediatly remembered the next day, I took 2 at the same time. BIG mistake! In a matter of hours I felt sick to my stomach and really nauseated :p.
