Seasonique and Blindness

Has anyone experienced blindness while taking Seasonique?

After I started Seasonique, I experienced migraines, then flu like symptons and then blindness. I have been diagnosed as legally blind and have been blind for 2 months. I was told my sight would come back in a few more months. My doctor said my blindness was caused by the pill.  It has been very difficult for my family since I cannot care for my children. . I crawl around on the floor trying to find spills or accidents made by the children with the  guidance of my 5 year old. She can tell me the time and she is working hard to be my eyes. My baby is just beginning to walk. My husband is trying hard to take care of the family and his job. Family and friends help with food and give me a break when they can with my children. My life is a mess right now. I miss my time with my children and my husband. I am living in the dark and just can't imagine how a birth control pill could this kind of damage to me.

I would not wish this on anyone.

This is not from migraines, nor do I believe it is from the pill.  Did he give the cause a name?  Optic neuritis, perhaps?

In any event, do not sit around waiting for your sight to come back.  If you haven't seen a neuro-ophthalmologist, get to one immediately.  What medications do they have you on?
