after Birth Control pregnancy

I currently had my implanon implant birth Control removed on Nov 4th. I had it for 8months totally. My boyfriend and I talked About Getting pregnant soon as it's removed but we waited two days. Can I become pregnant quicker since my implanon has been removed or how soon will I know to take a home pregnancy test ?

I'm super late responding back. After my birth control removal we tried after my first cycle but had no luck on starting a family. So I gave up, felt that it was the wrong time for us. We'll wait until whenever. Then Jan 23rd of 2014 I had a birthday. Next month I was looking forward on having my cycle and missed it. Waited April to take a test. I was about 3 months pregnant and didn't realize it. I'm currently 35 weeks and 4 days. Due November 16, 2014. I'm having a girl !

Hi,
Implanon is a hormonal contraception. Hence pregnancy may not be possible immediately or within a few days after its removal. It may take up to 2 to 3 months for normal ovulation to take place. Hence a pregnancy test can be taken when you miss your periods.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
