Well, then you should technically wait until your next period, but if it were me, I would just start today (but be ready for getting some spotting). You can ask a pharmacist or doctor for a professional opinion on that one.
Be aware that the pill can cause nausea at first, and that some people do better taking it later in the day when they have food in them. The first day I ever took a pill, I ended up feeling really nauseous, but was fine from then on, and haven't had the same when switching brands. And set an alarm on your phone so you can take them at the same time each day.
It started on Saturday and the bleeding stopped Friday, was able to get the pills yesterday o_o
Already got a prescription and by the time was actually to get them the bleeding for the period this month had stopped..
Get them prescribed now, then start the first Sunday after your period starts. So if your period starts on a Sunday, take it then. If it starts on a Thursday, start that Sunday. If it starts on a Monday and ends Saturday, start it Sunday. It sometimes takes a month or two for your body to adjust to the birth control, so you might have some irregularity at first, which is why you want to start it sooner rather than later.
When would be the best time to start taking them? Sorry bit of a dummy.
Alesse should work fine, as should a bunch of other brands. You have a bunch of options to choose from, and Alesse is as good as any (although some people work better with some brands than with others).
So...probably look into Alesse?
If you have a couple of months, get on a monophasic pill now and you'll be fine. Monophasic pills have the same dose in every pill, which lets you skip a period by just starting a new pack after 3 weeks (don't take the sugar pill week). I was told by my doc that it's safe to take up to 3 packs in a row before you should let yourself have a period.
