Who out there has gone the longest without a period while on bc. I am having the worst time and going on the 3rd month with no period. Its crazy and its messing with me soo bad with my hormones. I wan tto get off of it but it does help to regulate my periods alot.

what is it called? how long have you been on it? were you regular before you took it? and are you on it now? or do you go off your periood when you dont take it?.....i hd the same problem. I was on BC for a year or more and when i went ff of it i didnt have a period. i went 6 or 7 months without it, and it made me crazy hormonaly too! i was diagnosed with post-pill ammenoreah. i was given meds to force my body to start a period.
I never thought how crazy it can make your cycle and omg your hormones its unreal. I almost dont want to take it anymore but I only have until Dec..thank you all
Hey there, Im on the birth control " Depo-vera " and Ive not gotten my period in over a year. It all depends on your type of birth control and if its one of the possible side effects. for depo, some women continue on with there period, while some spot and others just go silent. But birth control will defiantly mess with your hormones, so things might be irregular.
I started a few years ago only getting my period 11 months. I almost was freaking out cus I thought I was going through menapause at age 32 I know its too young but I know there are cases where it does happen. I got my period at age 10, thats young compared to some women I guess. I have only been on the bc since June of this year but didnt take it July or August and started back up in Sept cus the dr told me to.
The dr put me on Tri-Sprintec low dose and I started in June well not being on bc before I forgo to get my pills for July. My period came on time but then August came noting sept nothing and Oct well still nothing. I kow it makes you irregular before it can make you regular. I have always had a irregular period my whole life no bad periods like cramps that made me keel over but very bad mood swings. This is making my hormones soo out of whack its unreal and I hate it. I was asked to be on it for 6 months to regulate my periods so that after It will help to conceieve a bit easier. I just started back up the 3rd week in Sept I believe, Ifts its not here by the 19th then something is just not right. I thought being cus I am in my 30's and going on bc for the first time might just make it all more ciomplicated
