Anxiety while on Microgestin Fe 1/20

1 minute
This is my second go around with microgestin. The  first time takin it i remember being really emotional. And out of no where I'm feeling nausea and very dizzy all the time, anxious depressed...really down for no reason at all. I feel like my boyfriend is doing things behind my back without and reasons at all. I feel so sad...I am not ready to get pregnant right now so I need to be on some type of birth control. I've tried Depo a couple of times and I do not like the fact I don't get my period ( that actually has its ups and downs) what else can I do??

Thank you...I'll definitely speak to my Dr. I've never even heard of microgestin. And wondered why he prescribed it to me. But after coming off Depo I needed something to regulate my cycle because I was getting my period literally every 2 weeks. But I will ask what other options are available.

Have you tried any other pills?  You might just be sensitive to the type of estrogen and progesteron Microgestin uses or need a different balance, etc., to not experience the mood symptoms.  I had issues with sensitivity to smell, nausea, and other things, but I changed the time I took it.  However, I think you need to talk to your gynecologist about trying something else as you're getting mood symptoms.
