Contraceptives

While breast feeding .... moms who have more than one baby what have you guys used to prevent getting pregnant again while also making sure its safe for your baby ? I have my 6 week check up tomorrow ( gave birth jan 25 ) & I want to make sure I ask for the perfect contraceptive .

its actually micronor but its called the mini pill, i love it so far!

I decided I'm not guna get the iud because I read too many crazy things that happen and that can happen while on it .. The pill your talking about its actually called a mini pill ?

I just went through this. I'm 7 weeks PP and breastfeeding my daughter, after reading some of the terrible things about IUD and side effects I chose the mini pill. It's safe for BF'ing and if I decide to stop I can just switch to the regular pill. I'm really good with taking pills though, so if you're not maybe an IUD is best for you, you can also get depo shots while breastfeeding, but I've heard weight gain is bad with it.

I had the iud for 5 years and loved it! I breast fed my son for almost a year so it was fine to have and breast feed

I've heard a lot of ladies say the copper iud because it doesn't release hormones....
