i was on mirena for two years, at first its very irregular and gives you cramps, but once you pass that your period should disappear completely (atleast mine did) along with my cramps, best form of birth control i have ever taken.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What you are having is metrorrhagia and IUD’s are an important cause of metrorrhagia. To decrease bleeding you can get prescribed Tranexemic acid from your doctor or progestogen to stop bleeding. Also you may need to get the IUD removed if it is the culprit.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
