Good luck. I'm having a ton of issues with the Depo still and I haven't had a shot since.October. I spotted from august all the way until Easter. I was so miserable.
Hi,
I am about to make a similar switch. I am trying to do research. I have had bleeding on and off for about 10 months after having almost no problems for 6 years on the depo. My dr told me the implanon/nexplanon would be better because it is a smaller dose of the progestin. I am wondering how did it work out for you? I hope you get this! thank you!
Its different for everyone and you wont know until you try. i have it and i love it! The only real side effect ive had is that i dont get regular periods (maybe one after about 3 months) but when i do they are lighter and i dont have any pain from them.
I have on ocassion had very mild pregnancy symptoms; nausea, feeling exhausted, boobs feel bigger and sore, a bit emotional....but like i said, very mild.
I cant complain and would recommend for everyone to try it cause if it works, then its the best contraception ever lol...its in for 3 years so you dont have to worry about it :)
