If you continue to have unprotected sex, you may well become pregnant at any time.  It is not easy to tell when the Depo shot has "worn off".   It could happen right away, it could take 2 years.

At age 16, this is a pretty irresponsible thing to do.  You are drastically reducing your chances of finishing school, and statistically likely to produce offspring who will also have teen pregnancies.  You may be on welfare over a long period of your life.

You are also statistically much more likely to have at least one more pregnancy in the next 2-3 years after your first one, if you become pregnant as a teen.

Teens who have unprotected sex are also often the recipients of several very common stds, which may render them infertile in their later years, when a pregnancy may be very much wanted.

Please do the right thing, and finish your education first.  Be responsible.

i heard the depo shot could kill your sexuality... Make sex a lot less pleasureable.

You do not know when it is out, and just an FYI even when you are actively on BC pills or the shot or whatever there is always a chanc of Break Through Ovulation, if this occurs and you become preg, you wont even know because your pill or shot or what ever aborts the baby, by not letting it implant into your uterus, this is info i just found out. the reason you do not know is because you bleed around the time of your period so you do not know it is a mc. here are some crazy articles, BC does not just prevent you from getting preg in one way, there are two ways ans when they are not effective the 3rd method the pill or shot uses is abortive, the bc companies are just not being honest with women. Check out the articles cray ****.
