Am I pregnant???

I have been on Loestra bc for almost 2 years . the whole time my periods have in no way been regular . around the 10th of December my father in law came from hospice to live out his last days with us. I was scheduled to begin the last week of my three month pack on the 10th. What with all the stress involving my father in law there I forgot to take my last week of pills. My husband and I were sexually active the whole time. On the 21st I had some light brown spotting that only lasted that evening . I did not start my new pack for fear that I am pregnant . we have been safe since the beginning of January and I never have started . I have taken two hpts both negative . I have more tired than normal, super constipated and slightly sick to my stomach in the evening . could I be pregnant???

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Definitely implantation bleeding can be a possibility if you had unprotected intercourse close to the days when you had missed the pills. To confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing
