what are some thoughts or opinions on this birth control ?
I am currently on the implanon but will be switching to the ortho evra patch . What are some thoughts or opinions on this birth control ? Is there anything bad you experienced or maybe some good effects to it ? ADVICE ?

Each birth control method has its own advantages and disadvantages.Acne; cysts of ovaries, depression, dizziness, hair loss are more common with implanon.Evra patch contains more of estrogen compared to implanon. The major problem or disadvantage with the patch is that it can increase the risk of blood clot formation more than the conventional pill. Failure rates of evra patch are more compared to implanon.It is necessary to ensure that the woman will have maximum benefit with least side effects. Implanon is usually replaced every two to three years while patch is inserted vey week. Do discuss it with your doctor before taking any decision. I hope it helps.
