Does anyone know of any online DBT training sessions?

I would also like to know. I've been trying to find a place where I live that has them, but no luck so far. They counseling place I go to (where my psychiatrist is) doesn't have them. I've been seeing a regular therapist which has helped alot, but I'm really interested in the DBT sessions.

Seattle has great DBT therapy options.  Not only that, Marsha Linehan, who developed DBT, heads the Behavior Clinics at the University of Washington, where she and others conduct research on an ongoing basis. THey hold clinical trials and you can view those online by googling Marsha Linehan.

There are online dbt classes that can be found under the yahoo health groups.  A.J. Mahari has a number of different classes (for those with and without bpd, for those who are christian, etc).

dbt isn't effective for all with bpd.  Some have developmental issues dating back to early childhood for which dbt doesn't seem as effective.

I don't know if anyone is still monitoring this thread but if you go to www.dbtselfhelp.com it has everything from the class and more. Check it out if you get a chance.  It helped me get through the class and it's a great review now that I'm done.
