hit head, still hurts 5 days later

Hi!

I hit my head rather hard in the early hours of Saturday morning, I slipped getting out of a taxi and hit the side of my head on the car door frame. I didn't feel dizzy or loose consciousness and I wasn't sick it just really really hurt! I managed to get some sleep that night but couldn't lie on that side of my head as so tender. For next couple of days I felt a bit weird head really hurt, headaches bit of ear ache and feeling lethargic with some nausea on and off. That haw passed now but 5 days later head still hurts and is tender to touch. No more nausea or earache but still gets waves of lethargy and fatigue at times through the day with my sore head. There is a bit of a raised bump but not as bad as when I first did it. I probably should have seen a doc straight away but I was staying away at the weekend got home and have been avoiding since (bit of white coat syndrome) is it worth bothering a doc with now at this late stage or just see how things go as symptoms seem to slowly be easing? I hope! Thanks!

I agree. I hope you have seen a doctor by this time.
