son being sick

Hi i am trying to find out what is wrong with my son he is very small for his age he is 12 he has been reffered to an endrocrologist because he has a three year bone age delay, he keeps having really aggresive outbursts which i mentioned to my pead and she just told me that is cahms field, also he has been suffering headaches and is complaining of feeling nauseous most mornings he has also ben sick a few times now in the past four weeks twice morning and the other evening just before he went to bed, he has learning delays to i am just starting to get worried now with the sickness as i thought it was just stress but the timmings just dont match because when he loses his temper he goes mad smashing things up then as if nothing happend he is fine, ( and is never sick during these moments) i am going to try and see the gp this week with my concerns just any help or info would really help, he had full blood count and was tested for celiac his calcium levels all them came back normal, this was about three months ago .

The doctor is sending him for an evaluation, I am guessing, for hormones mostly likely for growth hormone.

I can be a number of things. I would contact the Magic Foundation as they have a lot of dealings with children with growth issues and see if they can give you some guidance. I would also get copies of all the testing that you have had and well as the testing that you get in the future. He will probably need an MRI (please make sure it is a proper pituitary MRI and that it is dynamic - ask for dynamic - it means the contrast is given while the MRI is on).  A regular set of blood test will not usually show much for most types of issues - he will need a set of special testing and sometimes since they are special, labs are not used to doing them so make sure they are done at the right time (usually 8am fasting is best) and correctly.

It is a lot to learn.
