Core Needle/Vacuum Assisted Biopsy Completed

I had my biopsy on Friday.  They completed about six core needle biopsies on one lump and elected to do the vacuum assisted form on another.  I was a little surprised when they told me they were placing markers internally.  Sounds like the prudent thing to do though.  The first 24 hours I was pretty sore, but am doing well now with minimal bruising.  I should get a call with the results on Wednesday or Thursday.  I feel positive about things but will feel much better after being contacted.  Geez... I just wish the doctor could have somehow told me everything looked benign.  I saw her closely analyzing a sample in a jar but I decided not to ask for her impression.  I know it needs to be viewed microscopically.  Thinking good thoughts!
