compression magnification

What is a compression magnification views/coned down magnification views? How soon should I get this done?
Have had mammograms every year, doctor did breast exam, found nothing unusual. But report from mammogram
says to get a compression magnification views/coned down magnification views.

I would definitely schedule it ASAP.  This was one of the steps I went thru that led to my early diagnosis of DCIS.  Its still level 0 and the treatment isn't as severe.  Hopefully it will turn out to be nothing, but its better to be sure and informed.

This is another Mammogram but rather than the breast being viewed as a whole, the X-ray is concentrated on one specific area of the breast. I would schedule this as soon as is convenient and a prescription may be required as it's not considered a screening procedure which doesn't require one. Hope this helps with your question.
