Another itchy nipple

Six weeks ago I had a mastectomy on my right breast.    My left breast has a sore spot exactly the same as the right one did, but also my left nipple is so itchy it drives me crazy till i do scratch it.

I was very disappointed about the right breast as I was attending a doctor because the nipple was bleeding, every day for months.    It wasn't until I went to a different doctor that this was diagnosed.

I have had an ultra sound on the left one but no doctor came in to check and I have been told it is clear, but I am really very worried.     Please advise.

This discussion is related to rash on nipple and areola.

PS: Sorry for misunderstandin about the right nipple.
What was your diagnosis that prompted the mastectomy?
       Is any additional treatment planned?

I also apologize for all my typos; I am sitting in a dark room and I guess my typing skills are not good enough to type in the dark. Katrin

There is so little information you qare giving us, it's difficult to help/advise you. You say you had a mastectomy in the right breast, but if you had then the nipple couldn't bleed on this breast any longer after the mastectomy?

Then we don't know if you had/have cancer either, and if both breasts gace pretty much the same problem with the nipple, this is also unusual for cancer to be found on both sides.

I believe you that this must be very stressful to you, and especially having, and getting so little feedback  from your doctors?
It  would be helpful if you could say more as I feel left in the dark at this point.
