Anyone Have Experience With Prophylactic Mastectomy

I have been going back and forth to my breast dr. for the last year.  I had an excisional biopsy last October which showed and intraductal papilloma.  Fast forward to March, I felt a lump under my right nipple.  Dr. ordered mammogram and ultrasound.  paplpable lump was not found however two other nodular densities were but they decided to just watch and come back in a few months.  I went back in for an Ultrasound in August, and this time six nodular densities were found, radiologists notes were that a  biopsy needs to be considered on at least two of them. He also notated multiple papillomas should be considered, however, multifocal malignancies would be a concern.   The palpable one is a little larger than before.  They are all still sub-centimeter, however, four of them are hypervascular and irregular and micro lobulated.  My dr ordered an MRI, this came back as negative... How can 6 suspicious nodules go from a concern to nothing at all. My dr. and I looked at the MRI together and she decided she could in fact see the palpable nodule on the MRI however,it wasn't a blatant stand out for a malignancy.  In fact she still says probably benign and probably I have several papillomas like the one I had in my left breast.  She decided to send me for excisional biopsy on the palpable nodule just to be safe.  I went to see the surgeon (who did previous biopsy)  he did an ultrasound to make sure of the area he would be removing and said, I will be happy to remove this nodule however, what about all of these other ones I am seeing. How do I prioritize this one over the other?  He suggested I weigh my option of prophylactic mastectomy ( extensive family history, mother, 3 maternal aunts, and maternal grandmother).  I started asking other dr. and 4 out of 5 agree with prophylactic mastectomy.  Now I have to decide which method of reconstruction, nipple sparing, delayed, immediate... Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this??  Sorry for being so long winded.

The link below it, is also very valuable, advising you what to do before and after surgery.  I hope the information can help you decide.
