B- 4 microcalcification Benign vs Mal. Anyone?

I received a copy of my mamo. An illmarginated pleomorphic microcalcification Birad 4. Did anyone ever have one that was not cancerous?

WONDERFUL news you bring to us. Congratulations !! Don't forget though that just because you rec'd good results this time; don't ever take things for granted ........ ALWAYS investigate anything new or different. Not trying to rain on your parade; just a caution to always be vigilant.  Congrats again ... We love hearing good news !! For all who are going through this my Birad 4 pleomorphic microcalcification cluster is BENIGN. Praise the Lord O my soul  and forget not all his benefits. PS 103:3 Hang on to the hand of God. Thank you all for your support I will be watching and praying for those who want it.

Pleomorphic means that the microcalcifications differ in size and shape. When microcalcifications are observed scattered about within the breast tissue they are of no particular concern. When these calcifications are clustered or grouped then they do raise suspicion and need to be investigated further; usually by biopsy. These biopsies do NOT always reveal a malignancy so many have had a biopsy for this finding that returned a negative result.   Regards .....
