You can do this, gfafan. Just one foot in front of the other.

Well I decided to go to the surgeon today. I have to go for a lumpsectomy. I am so so scared. I'm at a loss for words, just praying for the best!
I am the Reach to Recovery Volenteer for ACS. That is for lady's that have Breast Cancer. My advice is to do the biopsy NOW.
I work with women everyday, that did not want to admit something was wrong, that is a piece of you body that makes you feel like a women, and you are scared, and you have every right to be, but God gave us dr.s and your dr. said you need a biopsy. Please you do not know me but you will sleep better knowing. good are bad the ACS will be there for you and so will your family. Please do this you and your family.
If a biopsy has been recommended due to a suspicious nodule in the breast you should absolutely NOT even think of waiting. This could be related to the other nodule that was found. Worse case scenario being a metatastatic cancer involving both areas ... Please proceed with the biopsy ASAP.
The biopsy would check for cancer or other abnormalities. If it is cancer, you may be sorry you waited 6 months. I know the thought of a biopsy is scary. I barely slept the week before mine. But by a week after the biopsy, I was just about back to normal. Maybe someone could go with you to the appointment so you wouldn't be alone?
