My recent mammogram showed calcifications in my right breast, which were not present in previous mammograms. (have been having mammo's every 6 months for lumpsLumps in the breasts). I just had my follow-up mammogram done and was told not to worry. She told me just that the calcifications were way up, and that the radiologist wanted someone else to review the results and would call me Monday to discuss next steps. I have no idea what type of calcifications I have, or even what type of questions I should be asking. I have had 2 breast surgeries in the past for removal of lumpsLumps in the breasts, both benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo. I have also scheduled an appointment with a specialist, as I have discovered a lumpLumps in the breasts in my right armpitArmpit lump as well.
My question is, what should I ask the radiologist when she calls on Monday?
Am I just over reacting to something that is normalNormal saline flush?
Hi there,
Just read your post and hoping everything is okay? Did you speak to your radiologist? My mom just had calcifications removed so I know a bit about this....
Hope all is well.
