I recently found a lumpLumps in the breasts and immediately saw my doctor. I had an ultrasound and mammogram within 5 days. The ultrasound showed a tumor which the radiologist stated "could" be a fibroadenoma. I was set up for a biopsy this wednesday. I have noticed that most people have to wait a few weeks for these test and I am getting them within a day or two. Should I be worried. If the biopsy shows just a fibroadenoma why would I need a lumpectomy like my doctor stated?
